Project Description
This project essentially is a fan zine which highlights anarchist or anarchy related themes represented by modern day rap music and rap artiste. This small publication includes artiste bios which outline the included rapper’s respective origins, careers and works produced.
also included is a pictorial list of each respective artiste’s discography (some of the discographies are shortened based on relevance to the publication’s purpose and my personal favorites).
To show the relation to anarchism, I selected relevant lyrics and quotes from songs, interviews or casual encounters of the rappers included. I also included annotations for the lyrics so the context and relation to anarchism can be easily understood.
