Project Description
This project involved the re-branding of a real world client identity ( Microbiome Insights). Microbiome Insights is a Vancouver-based service company providing microbiome analysis for academic and industrial researchers.
The preexisting identity was amateurish and lacked consistency; the company was also in the startup phase so their identity was not fully established.
Project Criteria
Perform a detailed brand analysis that addresses the: design challenges and process, current brand audit, customer analysis, competitor analysis (competitive review, secondary research and then plan/execute Co-creation session & Qualitative analysis)
Develop a comprehensive brand strategy that details the brand: promise, personality, qualities and values, mission and vision, value proposition and market position.
Present the consequent brand system, involving the: verbal system, visual system, digital materials, print materials, templates, guideline and campaigns.

Brand Strategy
Required Deliverable: Logo, Brand Guidelines Book, Verbal system, and Visual system.
Print Materials: Conference materials (posters), Advertisements (at universities for professors/PhD students), Brochure, Results card (iTag analysis), and Stationary (business card, letterhead, and envelope).
Digital Materials: Website, Presentation Slides Template, Results card (iTag analysis) pdf, and Email templates.
